O intenso esplendor de luz e a pluralidade cromática proporcionam à pintora Antonieta Castro uma grande expressividade que a artista capta com mestria ao representar os elementos da vida – a água, o fogo, a terra e o ar.

Ao deter-se nas subtilezas do quotidiano, a aguarelista usa traços soltos e leves com a perfeita noção de perspectiva e de equilíbrio, num movimento de formas que exprime emoções e sentimentos.

Mesclados harmoniosamente, tons e manchas envolvem as figuras humanas em mistérios que, fazendo apelo à imaginação, transformam cada obra numa peça de rara beleza estética.

The intense splendour, the light and the chromatic plurality give Antonieta Castro her enormous means of expression. This artist captures majestically the four elements of – water, fire, earth and air.

By sensing the fine and daily subtleness’s, this water-painter, applies in her work, loose and light drawings and traces with the perfect notion of perspective and balance, in a movement of forms, and is able to express emotions and feelings.

The harmonious mixture of tones and traces involving human figures in mystery is done in such a manner that one’s imagination is awakened. She transforms each of her work into a rare and beautiful piece of art.
